On-chain intelligence,
from our own node
A weekly on-chain and mempool brief for UAE Bitcoiners, read through an AED lens. Network metrics are calculated from a Bitcoin node we run ourselves; market prices and venue information come from separately identified sources, and each issue records its observation time. No price predictions, no altcoins.

Issue #7 · 2026-10-11 · Block 970,925
No premium for the next block
Our node's fee quote is flat at 1 sat/vB across the whole curve — next block included — for the first time since Issue #2, with the weekly median at the floor for a seventh week and the backlog down to 36 vMB. Last week's early −6.09% difficulty read has flipped to +4.21% after the busiest block week in our series, hashrate prints its first reading above 1,000 EH/s, fees fall to a series-low 0.55% of miner revenue, and top-three pool share rises for a fourth week to 64.1%.
Issue #6 · 2026-10-04 · Block 969,839
Six weeks at the floor
The median block fee holds at 1 sat/vB for a sixth week while the backlog grows at the back: at least 85% of a 41-block queue pays under the 1 sat/vB floor, leaving about six blocks ahead of a 1 sat/vB transaction. The projected −1.96% difficulty cut landed at −0.03%, the new −6.09% early read deserves the same scepticism, fees hit a series-high 0.75% of miner revenue, and top-three pool share climbs for a third week to 63.0%.
Issue #4 · 2026-09-20 · Block 967,820
The floor held, the queue behind it quadrupled
Fees hold at 1 sat/vB for a fourth week but the mempool quadruples to 41 blocks deep and one block spikes to 444 sat/vB — the floor is now a queue, not a bargain. Difficulty projected −7.27% for 4 October, the first cut in our series, hashrate off 2.9% into a 4.8% higher price, and top-three pool share above 60% for the first time.
Issue #3 · 2026-09-13 · Block 966,816
Week three on the floor, and the first flicker
Fees hold at 1 sat/vB for a third week but the mempool grows and one block spikes to 56 sat/vB — the consolidation window is still open and has started to narrow. Difficulty projected +4.75% for Saturday, hashrate at 943 EH/s into a 4% lower price, and why a doubled network fee is still a rounding error next to the rail spread.
Issue #2 · 2026-09-06 · Block 965,764
Week two on the floor
Fees hold at 1 sat/vB for a second week while the mempool drains 59% — the consolidation window is open with no queue in front of it. Difficulty resets +1.31% with +5.53% projected, hashrate at 930 EH/s, and why the spread, not the network fee, is what UAE buyers actually pay.
Issue #1 · 2026-09-02 · Block 965,182
The chain is on sale
Fees pinned at 1 sat/vB all week while hashrate holds near record highs — a consolidation window for UAE stackers, and a look at the 0.62% fee share propping up miner revenue.

Read the excerpt →Numbers you can verify yourself
Every on-chain research shop you've heard of buys its data from the same handful of vendors. We don't. This brief is generated from our own full node — bitcoind, an Electrum server, and a mempool instance on hardware we run. That means the numbers are network-level facts you can check against your own node, and our incentive is your understanding, not a data-license upsell. It's the same verify, don't trust principle we apply to custody — applied to research.

The paid tier: intelligence you can act on
The weekly brief is the map. The paid tier — launching after the first free issues — is the operations manual for UAE holders:
- Interpreted analysis 1–2x/week — what the data means and what we'd actually do about it
- Fee-window alerts: a ping when blockspace is cheap enough to consolidate UTXOs or withdraw to self-custody
- AED rails intelligence: measured, all-in costs of buying and withdrawing Bitcoin across UAE exchanges
- VARA / tax / CARF changes translated into action within days, not months
