Privacy Policy

The short version

We don't track you across the web. No third-party advertising cookies. No Google Analytics. No retargeting pixels. Just first-party page-load metrics (via Plausible, self-hosted) and the email address you give us if you sign up for the newsletter.

Analytics

We use Plausible, self-hosted on our own server (plausible.bitcoiners.ae). Plausible records anonymized page views and high-level metrics — no IP storage, no cookies, no cross-site identifiers, no fingerprinting. The data never leaves our infrastructure. Read more at plausible.io/data-policy.

Email signups

When you submit your email via the signup form, we store: your email address, the page you signed up from (e.g. footer or construction), your IP address (for rate-limit and abuse prevention only), and the timestamp. We use it solely to send you the weekly newsletter and launch updates. We never sell, share, or trade your email. Unsubscribe links are in every email and honoured immediately.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination platform (e.g. OKX, Trezor) sets its own cookies in your browser to attribute the referral. That's a transaction between you and them — we don't see it. Full disclosure of which programs we participate in: affiliate-disclosure.

Cookies

bitcoiners.ae itself sets no cookies. Plausible is cookie-free. The dev environment (dev.bitcoiners.ae) is gated by Cloudflare Access which sets an authentication cookie scoped to that subdomain only — it never reaches the public site.

Hosting

The site runs on our own infrastructure (UAE) behind Cloudflare for DDoS protection and edge caching. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP, country, browser) per its own policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Your rights

Want your email removed, your data exported, or any other request? Email [email protected]. We'll act within 7 days.

We treat your data the way Bitcoiners treat their keys: minimum exposure, full sovereignty, no third parties unless absolutely needed.
